Founded and run by husband-and-wife team Matthew and Serai Dowling, authors of A Guide to Tidal Pools of the Western Cape and Wild Swimming in the Western Cape, Tide & Seek is an owner-managed boutique operator offering carefully crafted tidal pool tours and immersive wild swimming experiences in and around Cape Town.
Our experiences are shaped by deep local knowledge and a respect for shared coastal spaces, with an emphasis on slowing down and paying attention — to the history, heritage, culture, and ecology of these places — through low-impact, ethically led ocean experiences guided by qualified and experienced practitioners.
